Frequently Asked Questions

Vineyard School is a public school alternative offered through the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD), serving students K-12. Vineyard High School is a fully WASC accredited school. We offer UC/CSU approved college preparatory classes. Students attend school virtually and/or in person 1-2 times each week per class. Vineyard Alternative School is not a continuation school.

If you are already a student in the LVJUSD enrollment at Vineyard Alternative School requires an intra-district transfer from your homeschool.  If you are new to the district and are coming from a comprehensive school, you will need to contact your home school to enroll there. If you do not know your home school please, see the district web page at www.livermoreschools.org.

Yes. Vineyard is an accredited high school offering the same diplomas as traditional high schools.

Concurrent enrollment at Livermore High School is offered depending upon space and schedule times. Please contact the Vineyard office for more information.

Yes. You may participate in sports at your home school, but there are requirements.
